Original Box FAQs

What are my options?

When will I get my awesome fair trade box?

If you sign up by the 24th of the month, we will ship your first package within the next 7 days to be received by the first Friday of the following month. If you sign up after the 24th, your first package will be shipped the following month. All members are billed on the 5th of every month. Please note that if you sign up for a 3, 6, or 12 month membership, you will be automatically renewed when it expires, but you can cancel at anytime. (And if the items you receive aren’t your style? No worries! Every bag comes with a gift tag for you to share them with a friend!)

Can I try out a box for just one month box?

Yes! If you’d like to try one month, you can purchase it in The Mercy Shop (there is a fee for shipping). This is also a great way to send a box as a gift.

What if I receive something damaged?

While our products are quality-checked, sometimes these things happen. Please email us within 30 days of receiving your package and we will work hard to get you a replacement or exchange it for a similar item.  You may check out our policies here. We may request photos or for you to return the damaged item back to us so we can inspect it and communicate any quality issues with the artisan group.

What will come in my box?

Every box is valued at least $40.00. We work with many of the artisans we feature, so we are able to bring the best items to you at a very good price. Each box includes:

  • 3-4 unique fair trade items
  • a product card with information about each of your fair trade items and the artisans who made them
  • a gift tag in case you love an item so much you want to give it away

What’s the best deal?

We recommend joining the monthly club which will feature occasional bonus items in your box. It’s $5 less a month and comes with free shipping. You can cancel at anytime. Click here to join the Original Fair Trade Friday Box.

What if I never received my box?

What a travesty!  We will research it immediately.  Just contact us.

How do I cancel?

Log into your account here and cancel anytime. If you are subscribed through Paypal (subscribed prior to Feb. 2016), please email us at fairtradefridayclub@gmail.com to cancel.
